Robbie Smith.
“I worked for my father for many years building high end new construction houses. From there I spent time working for a roofing company doing sales and project management. From there I started my own roofing company.”
“We pride ourselves in good communication and giving customers a high end experience with their new roof project.”
Robbie Smith, owner
From new construction to roofing.
Robbie learned the trade from the ground up, working for his father for many years building high-end new construction houses. That is where he learned how a house goes together: framing, roof, windows, siding and trim, and how each piece affects the next.
He then spent time with a roofing company in sales and project management. That side of the business is all about the homeowner's experience: explaining the options clearly, planning the job, keeping people informed and leaving the property clean. In 2024 he put both halves together and started Millwood Roofing in Framingham.

What customers say.
“If you need snow and ice removal off your roof, call Robbie Smith, owner of Millwood Roofing.
He came out over a week ago to provide a free estimate. While the price initially gave me pause, I now realize it would have saved me a lot of stress and additional expense if I just had him come out right away to remove all the snow and ice because, fast forward to his week, I came home to severe ice dams and water leaking into two floors of my house. I immediately reached back out to Robbie, and he had his crew there the very next day.
I’m now dealing with an insurance claim, deductible, and interior repairs related to the ice dams that likely could have been avoided if I just hired him as soon as he gave me the estimate. In hindsight, the cost was absolutely worth it for the peace of mind alone.
Robbie and his team were professional, efficient, kind, and extremely thorough. I have a large, high roofline and they cleared it completely. He’s fully insured and clearly takes pride in his work.
Don’t wait like I did, it can end up costing more in the long run. Highly recommend Millwood Roofing!!!”
“Robbie and his crew are fantastic. The interaction started with a very consultative meeting leading to an incredibly accurate and reasonable quote. On the work day, the crew showed up right on time and were extremely efficient, polite and respectful of their surroundings. The work was done in a timely manner and with top notch craftsmanship. You hear so many bad stories about roofing companies but rest assured, you’re in the right spot if you choose Millwood. A+!”
“Robbie's response time was quick, and he was able to give us options (different price points) of how to solve the ice dam problem we found ourselves with. He was able to shovel the portion of the roof that was affected and it has solved the water leakage inside the house! He was polite, professional and we will definitely call on him again if the need arises!”
